Home again............

Well that was a quick trip..........

Just got back from a great trip across the sea to New Caledonia.  What a great place and it is only a 2.5hour flight from Auckland.  That is awesome.  Cam Brown had suggested a month ago that we go across and have a weekend doing the  Olympic distance triathlon.  Sounded like a good idea so we contacted the race.....and sure enough a month later we are sitting at a restaurant over looking the calm, clear warm waters of Noume. 

The weekend was awesome, lots of aussies and kiwis....and the Swiss Miss was there.  It was fun, a short, fast and furious race, all over within two hours.  I like that, kind of!!!!  the pain is intense, but over very fast. 

So I raced well, I think running my fastest EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR 10KM, and winning the race, it can't get much better than that.  Now we have unpacked our bags and bikes are again thinking of what is going to be in two weeks time.   Armando and I are heading over seas again!! but this time it is a looooooooooong flight all the way to England. 

I have a half ironman part of the TriGrandPrix in Kent and then two weeks later in Zarautz Spain!!!!  NICE.....I am super super super excited about the next few weeks, 

The weather here in NZ is getting nippier and nippier by the day, so I think we have timed it just right!  So I must be off now, washing the sporty gear, now trying to get it dry in time for a mini bike ride today, hope the weather behaves.....
