Kansas 70.3

This weekend I am racing HALF IRONMAN 70.3 KANSAS.  I arrived here just a few days ago, after taking some mini restdays in New York City.  Pretty much as soon as I finished the Rev 3 Half Ironman, Armando and I made it back to our homestay, Cookie and John Keggi's house, showered, and packed and headed directly to Manhatten.  How cool is that.  The Keggi family were incredible.............I had just finished packing my bags when Cookie came upstairs and said that she had booked us a LIMOUSINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE to take us to our next stop.  So we arrived in Manhatten on sunday evening and went out for a yummy indian meal.  How cool is that.  I felt like a complete rockstar....so incredibly lucky.  They certainly spoilt us rotten...

It was so awesome to be in a BIGGGGGG CITY ONCE AGAIN.  and there really isn't anything like  being in New York.  So for the next three days, Armando and I walked from 57th street to Wallstreet to Central Park and pretty much every street there is.  It was a great time spent chilling.  I think that is the best way to recover after a race.

But here we are now back in Kansas.  And again we are staying with ANOTHER ONE OF THE BESTEST HOMESTAYS IN THE WORLD......Liz and Kent DOBBINS.......we stayed with them last year and enjoyed every second of our time here......so many laughs and so many stories......  and the best thing of all is that both LIZ AND KENT have qualified for kona....so you can imagine our table talk!!!  so much fun.

So it is time for me now to go and have a cuppa.....I am big time into hot milk at the moment....it seems to work wonders with chilling before bedtime....

hugs and happiness to everyone, take care out there...and have fun..
