Back in the heat...

Well here I am, back in Weston Florida....and I don't know what I was talking about a few weeks back....being hot?  what I am experincing right now is a joke.  I had been to florida one time many years ago, it was august!  I don't even think I could get out of the hotel......it was stinking hot.  And now, training in heat like that is quite hard.  We try and start early, and beat the heat, but I am not starting at 4am.....that is just too early. 

I guess this is good heat acclimitisation, fingers crossed all my races this year are in styffling conditions. 

Last week I returned back from St Croix, where my husband and I experienced another incredible, awesome, the bestest ever homestay.............I thought last year we had the best well this year is turning out to be the same.  It is so amazing how families just open up there doors and offer there house to athletes.  This way you really get to relax and enjoy travelling to your events.  In St Croix Armando and I stayed with ANDREA AND ANDREW ROWLEY!!!  i really can't describe how we were treated, but if I say that we will be returning for many more years to come, I am sure you can work it out that we had a blast!!!!!!!

And the coolest thing about St Croix was that our homestay from Kansas, KENT AND LIZ DOBBINS were also racing!!  and congrats to them, I saw both of them on top of the stage......well done to more of our LAWN-GALARRAGA EXTENDED FAMILY!!

HUGS AND HAPPINESS TO EVERYONE....my next race is the Disney 70.3!!  I am all ready to be greeted by mickey mouse....he better be there! take care
