One more sleep until we leave for St Croix

Wow, I can't believe tomorrow we are leaving for St Croix.  I have heard and read soooooooooooo much about this race and place, and I am finally going there.  The Beast????  I look forward to telling you how it goes?  is it really that steep???  only a few more days until I test myself up some hills......

I am here in Florida still and loving it!!  everyday the weather is just perfect, the roads are smooth, the cars are aware of us on our bikes, the pool at the YMCA is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but there just aren't any hills!!!  and I mean there isn't even anything that goes up!!  oh there is one, but it is only about 80-100m.  Some of the driveways in Auckland are longer than that!!  but hey, Florida is awesome for the bike as it is very windy most days, and this really forces you to work hard on the flats and into the wind....one way to get strong!!!  aero bars..aero bars.....and more aero bars......

Well all is great, have to go off and finish the packing, Armando does the bikes, and I do the clothes!!  a perfect combination.
