It's all done...

IT IS DONE..I am so happy that Ironman NZ is done. But wow what a weekend. It was an incredible day, not just for me, but for all the finishers. It was a tough day as the wind on the bike AND THE RUN were trying.
I just wanted to say WELL DONE, CONGRATULATIONS AND COOLNESS to everyone.
AND THE VOLUNTEERS IN TAUPO....WERE INCREDIBLE, you really made my day flow like a well tuned engine.

Ding dong....doorbell
Submitted by Jo on Tue, 03/02/2010 - 00:15.Ding dong went the door bell late last night.......looking forward to my first big sleep in...and thank goodness for that, as I was greeted late last night by Drug Free sport!
Ugh, I had only justtttttttttttttt showered and done all my routing bathroom duties when my little friends came to visit. I knew they were probably going to be stopping by soon, as last year they came one night earlier!!
So after drinking aloooooooooooooooot of water, I finally gave my bottle of 120ml urine......I did off course have to do a partial as really I was all ready for bed!

BUT, CONGRATS TO MY GREAT FRIEND BELINDA GRANGER!!! she nailed a win at Ironman Malaysia.....well done well done well done.......
So, this is the time to chill, put your feet up and enjoy your time. The training has all been done, and if not, it is better to be under done than over cooked!!! Ironman is a longgggggggggggggg day. This week, make sure you get good food, good rest and get organised.

Things are going great, Armando and I have just moved into our own place. It is kind of cool....we train, we eat, we sleep and we just hang at our place. It is great!!!!
